Ten youths were rescued after being stranded on an island due to sudden torrential rains near Guchupani in Dehradun on July 4. Footage shows the SDRF team using a rope to connect the shores on both sides of the river to save the 10 people stranded on the island. The SDRF was informed by CCR Dehradun that some people were stranded on an island near Guchupani. As soon as the information was received, Sub Inspector Lakshmi Rawat from Post Sahastradhara, along with the SDRF rescue team, immediately reached the spot with the necessary equipment.
