Dramatic video footage then shows that when Mr Rees-Mogg left the building after his speech and made his way to a car, screaming protesters swarmed him and security guards were forced to push them back. Sam Baron, a student, said the protesters had prevented him from entering the building where Mr Rees-Mogg was giving the address. “These far left, anti democracy bullies stopped my attendance despite me obtaining tickets,” he said. Jake Enea, vice-president of the university’s Conservative and Unionist Association, said: “This does not represent the people of Cardiff and Cardiff University. “Truly disgraceful and I hope Jacob Rees-Mogg is ok.” Mr Rees-Mogg has not publicly commented on the incident.
