Search dogs combed the wreckage for survivors from a deadly train crash in India.

The tragedy, which is the deadliest train crash in two decades, left at least 288 dead and 900 injured, according to railway officials.

The incident occurred after two passenger locomotives collided in India’s eastern state of Odisha, with the countries Prime Minister Narendra Modi vowing to ‘punish’ those found guilty.

Rescue efforts have now been concluded after officials claimed that all trapped passengers have been retrieved.
