ZELENSKYY OUTLINES THREE MAIN POINTS OF UKRAINIAN MILITARY POWER

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, during a joint press conference with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, stated that the power of the Defense Forces currently depends on three main points: interception of enemy initiative and deployment of offensive actions.

President noted three main points:

・Approval of financial support from partners, including the United States;

・Timely delivery of weapons to Ukraine;

・Supply of "specific" weaponry to the Defense Forces;

"I believe that the first point, which was very difficult, has been fulfilled. There is a package, and there is financial support. This means that we can count on this money," he explained.

According to Zelenskyy, there hasn't been much progress on the second point (timely delivery), although deliveries have "somewhat" started. However, it's essential to expedite this process.

The third point, as the president explained, is the most important. He emphasized that today, what Ukraine can receive is crucial.

"And this 'what' is the most important thing. I'm not talking about the fourth point, where we can use one or another weapon. That's a separate conversation. So we are grateful to the partners, but there are still two important points," added Zelensky.

Ukraine's main needs

As repeatedly emphasized against the backdrop of intensified enemy strikes on critical infrastructure in Ukraine, the issue of strengthening air defense has become significantly more acute. In this context, Zelenskyy recently initiated a Ukraine-NATO Council meeting, the results of which can be found at the link.

Also, just recently, the US House of Representatives finally voted on a bill to aid Ukraine. Following this, the document was considered by the Senate and signed by the White House Chief Joe Biden. In the same week, the United States announced new support shipments to Kyiv.

One of the pressing requirements for Ukraine's Defense Forces is ammunition. To address this, Prague has initiated a procurement drive for artillery shells, a move that has garnered support from other allies of Kyiv.
