CLUB PUT CONTRACT OFFER TO TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR MAN

AC Milan have put forward a contract to Tottenham Hotspur right-back Emerson Royal, who has given his consent to a move to the Serie A giants this summer.

Royal has been heavily linked with a move away from Spurs despite having two years left on his contract with the club.

AC Milan are the side who are pushing to take him away from the north London club in the ongoing transfer window.

Villarreal have also been interested but a chance to play Champions League football has tilted the scales towards AC Milan.

According to Italian sports daily Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), the Rossoneri have put a contract on the table for Royal as part of the process.

AC Milan have offered a five-year deal worth €3m per season for him to move to the San Siro this summer.

There is a general agreement between Royal’s representatives and AC Milan for a move in the ongoing transfer window.

They are now in talks with Tottenham who want €25m from the departure of the Brazilian ahead of next season.

AC Milan have made an initial offer of €15m and are hoping to close out a deal for somewhere around €18m to €20m this summer.
