A middle school teacher has been suspended in Herricks School District after a ‘disturbing’ and ‘upsetting’ video emerged online.
Herricks School District Community came forward and released a statement after they were informed about a disturbing video of a school teacher that was going around online. At the moment, the details surrounding the content of the video remain unclear and no further information has been released.

After the news went viral, the Herricks School District Community, Dr. Tony Sinanis, Superintendent of Schools of the Herricks School District came forward with a statement.
It said: “It has come to our attention that there is a video currently circulating on various platforms that allegedly features one of our teachers. We understand that the contents of this video are disturbing and upsetting.”
“In light of this, we are conducting a full investigation into the matter and the teacher has been removed from the classroom. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding during this challenging time. We remain committed to upholding the values of our district and ensuring the well-being of our students,” the statement continued.
Parents urge for more clarity
At the moment, the community has not disclosed full details about the incident and parents are demanding to be given more details.
One parent said: “We’re kind of in limbo and we don’t really know what’s going on, but it has to be something serious if the teacher was removed from the classroom.”
Meanwhile, another expressed their shock as the teacher had taught their children. Despite these concerns, the authority has not shared any new details.
